The month we are highlighting Hope Lives! The Lydia Dody Cancer Center in the heart of Fort Collins, CO. Hope Lives!, a 501c3 nonprofit, offers free services in Colorado's Larimer and Weld counties to help manage the physical and emotional side effects of breast cancer treatment. For years, this remarkable organization has been quietly working behind the scenes, uplifting the lives of individuals battling breast cancer and their families.
The mission of Hope Lives! is to "add quality of life to breast cancer patients by offering integrative support services and products that help manage the physical, emotional, social and financial side effects of breast cancer treatment." Founded on the belief that no one should face breast cancer alone, the charity offers a range of invaluable services. They also provide emotional support, financial assistance, and educational resources, creating a strong support network for those in need.
What sets Hope Lives! apart is its commitment to empowering survivors, offering a platform to share their stories and helping them regain their confidence and quality of life after the storm of diagnosis and treatment. They also organize wellness retreats, fitness programs, and art therapy sessions that promote healing and personal growth.
