Local Charity Highlight - CASA for Children, Larimer County

One of Purposeful Financial and Legacy Planning's key values is to support the local community. In support of that value, we will highlight a Northern Colorado charity each month. Additionally, we support that charity with a donation.

This month we are highlighting CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children, Larimer County. CASA is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting children who have been abused or neglected. The organization is part of the National CASA Association, which was founded in 1977 to provide advocates for children in the court system.

CASA's mission is to provide every child who needs an advocate with a voice in court proceedings and to advocate for their best interests. To that end, CASA recruits, trains, and supports volunteer advocates who serve in these roles. They believe that every child deserves a safe and permanent home and that every child should have the opportunity to thrive.

CASA for Children, Larimer County has made a significant impact on the lives of children in the community. The organization has served over 3,000 children since its inception, and currently has over 250 volunteers who are working to support children in need.
